TONGO WATA AT A GLANCE

Tongo Wata is a social venture that seeks to transform the lives of village residents in rural Sierra Leone. We harness the power of local entrepreneurs to support resilient livelihoods. With our initial focus on the development of a sustainable model for treating and distributing clean water, we have now expanded our work to include food sovereignty projects and effective crisis response. Our long-term goal is to establish a replicable and resilient model of development which can significantly improve the lives of families and girls by providing access to fundamental human needs.
